SCCS comments
SCCS published a couple of new opinions that are currently open for SCCS comments: http://ec.europa.eu/health/scientific_committees/consumer_safety/opinions/index_en.htm.
The one that could affect a lot of products on the market is the proposed ban of butylphenyl methylpropional, which hasn\’t been found safe by the SCCS. Butylphenyl methylpropional is an allergen that is a part of many perfumes, so keep an eye on the final SCCS opinion or provide your comments by 1o November 2015, and then check whether this opinion would affect your products.
