Methyl-N-methylanthranilate addition to Annex III and SCCS opinion on 4-Methylbenzylidene Camphor

1) Methyl-N-methylanthranilate is added to Annex III of EU Regulation 1223/2009

As we already mentioned in our regulatory update last week, Methyl-N-methylanthranilate has now officially been added to Annex III.

You can find more information here.

2) Final SCCS Opinion on 4-Methylbenzylidene Camphor

The SCCS concluded that 4-MBC is not safe at the maximum concentration of 4%. The SCCS also could not propose a maximum concentration for safe use of 4-MBC, due to the lack of information on genotoxicity potential.
